The TBT Sisterhood will attend a book reading and discussion by author, AMY TAN, at the Cullen Theater in Wortham Center at 7:30 pm (doors open at 6:45 pm). General admission tickets are $5 and go on sale Sept. 1. Ms. Tan is a very popular and well-known author. If you would like us to purchase a ticket for you, you will need to get your $5.00 to Page or Michele before Sept. 1st. We will meet in the Olive Garden parking lot at Fuqua and I-45 at 5:00 pm and carpool downtown to The Grove Restaurant for dinner at 5:30, www.thegrove.com. Let us know if you want to join in the carpool or for dinner. The TBT Bookclub selection for the month of September is Ms. Tan's autobiography, The Opposite of Fate. For anyone who has already read the previous selection, The Girl From Foreign by Sadia Shepard, we will try to include it as a future bookclub monthly selection. Our trip to see Ms. Tan will serve as our meeting for the month of Sept. See http://www.inprinthouston.org/amy-tan
