Join the Temple Beth Tikvah Community: Jewish Groups and Community Events
The temple has both an active Men's Club and Sisterhood. The Sisterhood has a book club that meets monthly and on most Sundays the Men's Club sponsors a sunday morning coffee and bagel schmooze session. Additionally, there is an active youth group.
Social Action and Mitzvah Project: Paper Recycling
The 6th and 7th Grade Religious School Students have made a box to recycle our temple's used paper. Please remember to recycle as much as possible! The box will be placed in the lobby, and will be for computer paper, construction paper, and paper bags. We will take the paper to a recycling center when the box is full. Thank you!
The Hand In Hand Center for Jewish-Arab Education in Israel was founded in 1997 to build peace
between Jews and Arabs through development of bilingual and multi-cultural schools. Three elementary schools have been created and certified by the Israeli Ministry of Education. Each school is co-directed by Arab and Jewish co-Principals; and each classroom is co-taught by Jewish and Arab teachers. Every grade level is balanced between Arab and Jewish children. Students at all grade levels are taught in both Hebrew and Arabic. To learn more about the program and its founders, visit their website at http://www.handinhand12.org
