Adult Education

Adult Jewish Education in Clear Lake

Adult EducationEducation is the key to a full Jewish life from cradle to grave. To this end, our Rabbi and volunteer teaching staff provide quality educational opportunities for all ages.

Adult education classes meet throughout the year, and a basic adult Hebrew class is held most Sunday mornings.  In addition we encourage older students and adults, who may have missed the opportunity to study at an earlier age, to prepare for a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.

Hebrew School for Adults

TBT offers both Beginning and Advanced Adult Hebrew classes that are free for members and $100 for non-members. Adult Hebrew classes generally meet on Sunday mornings several times a month when Religious School is in session. For more information or a schedule please contact education@templebethtikvah.org

Jewish Meditation Group

Jewish Meditation Group Mets Every 4th Friday of the Month at 7pm

We met on the fourth Friday of every month at 7 pm, for a ½ hour before Friday night services. We are exploring what meditation can mean for our own personal growth and as an enrichment of spiritual community at TBT.  It‟s an opportunity to learn what meditation can mean for you as a Jew and for your relation to the divine.
