Friday Night Chai at TBT

Friday Night Chai

ark Our temple family workships every Friday evening throughout the year, using the Reform Siddur, MishKan T'Fillah.  An Oneg Shabbat follows each service to provide time for fellowship and socializing.  Services are observed for the Jewish holidays, including the High Holidays, Chanukah, Purim and Passover.  Yom Kippur concludes with a traditional "break-the-fast" sponsored  by our Temple Sisterhood.  We also celebrate seasonally with family Chanukah services and community menorah lighting as well as a children's model Seder and community Seder at Passover.

Guests are always welcome and encouraged to join us in prayer, study, and communal celebration.  Temple Beth Tikvah embraces all who seek to follow a Jewish life.  Our Shabbat evening services are followed by an oneg Shabbat.  On the first Friday of the month, we have a 6:30pm sesrvice followed by a potluck dinner and oneg.  Second Fridays are for "Friday Night Chai" service with musi,c singing (and occasional dancing in the aisles) at 7:30pm.  We have a meditative service and traditional service on the remaining Fridays starting at 7:30pm.  See our current monthly calendar.
